Battlefield Heroes now available for everyone!

https://www.battlefieldheroes.com/

Battlefield Heroes is a cartoon-style action game developed by EA Digital Illusions CE.
The game features context-specific third- and first-person shooter perspectives.
Heroes will be the first Battlefield game to be released under Electronic Arts' new "Play 4 Free" model, which will see the game released for free with revenue generated from advertising and micropayments.
Advertisements will appear on the website and the 'front-end' of the game although none will appear in-game, while micropayments may be made for additional items to customize the appearance of players' avatars without any gaming advantage.
The game is said to be placing less emphasis on skill and strategy, and will be less demanding on computer specifications than the previous games of the series to increase the audience base.
In addition, a system will be in place to match players of similar skill levels together for fair play.

Armed Assault 2

ARMA 2 (often incorrectly referred to as Armed Assault 2) is a military simulation game for the PC in development by Bohemia Interactive Studio. It is considered the next spiritual successor in the Operation Flashpoint-series following its predecessor, ArmA: Armed Assault (ArmA: Combat Operations in North America) The game was officially announced on August 22, 2007 at the Games Convention in Leipzig, Germany. Valve's Steam made ARMA 2 available for pre-order on June 1 2009.

Synopsis
ARMA 2 is a tactical shooter with significant vehicle and aircraft elements. The player is able to command AI squad members which adds a real-time tactics element to the game. This is further enhanced by introduction of the high command system, which allows the player to command multiple squads using the map. ARMA 2 is set primarily in the fictional Eastern European nation of Chernarus, (meaning "Black Russia"). The Chernarus landscape is based heavily on the Czech Republic, the home country of the developer. The original Operation Flashpoint (OFP) was developed by Bohemia Interactive Studios (who own the Real Virtuality engine) and published by Codemasters (who own the Operation Flashpoint brand). ArmA and ARMA 2 are the true technological successors to OFP. Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising is Codemasters' independently-developed 'sequel.'
